The Libyan Export Promotion Centre (LEPC) reported yesterday that it had followed-up on the export of a shipment of locally made carpets by the Tripoli Carpet Company to Mauritania last August.
The containers of carpets were shipped by sea from the Port of Khoms to the Mauritanian port of Nouadhibou.
The LEPC said this comes within the framework of following up on companies registered in its Exporters Register.
The LEPC pointed out that it had supported the Tripoli Carpet Company in participating in the economic events it had organized abroad, including in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott, and at home and in shipping operations as well as training.
The company has also exported to Ghana, Senegal, Spain and Belgium.
