CBL receives results from meetings with international banks

The newly installed Central Bank of Libya (CBL) administration has claimed today that it has regained control of all banking systems, including the main Oracle banking system.

It also claims that it has gained control of the local exchange permits system related to the salaries of citizens in sectors financed by the public treasury, which will enable the payment of citizens’ salaries throughout the country next Sunday‎.

It will be recalled that the outgoing CBL administration, led by Saddek El-Kaber, had refused to hand over the various IT codes for banking systems on account of their coerced and illegal removal.
