Tripoli government urges Italian company to put forward vision for solving Zliten’s rising groundwater level crisis

(GNU).

The Tripoli based Libyan government reported last Friday (9 February that on the sidelines of the Mediterranean Forum in Tunisia, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Hussein Al-Gatrani, discussed with the Italian company Scova Engineering SpA, the crisis of the high groundwater level in the municipality of Zliten.

Scova was described by the government’s media site as a leading Italian company in the field of water technologies and pumping and drainage stations.

It reported that Al-Gatrani stressed the necessity of presenting the company’s vision, after its visit to the municipality of Zliten, urgently to the mayor of the municipality, for the assigned team of advisors to study it and prepare appropriate solutions for the rising groundwater level crisis.
