Libya’s Food and Drug Control Centre announced yesterday that it had rejected a shipment of FERTILSAN M branded fertility treatment medicine manufactured in Germany at Tripoli’s Mitiga Airport.
It said the shipment was rejected because the date of use of the product had expired.
The photograph of the outer package of the product published by the FDCC shows that the product was a ‘‘free sample’’ and that its expiry date was 2023. The package also clearly shows its serial number, which should make it easier for the manufacturer to trace!
