The Support and Stability Apparatus, one of the most powerful Tripoli-based government recognized militias led Abdul-Ghani Al-Kikli Ghneiwa, announced Thursday that it is organising a ‘‘scientific conference on ‘Anti-Corruption to Strengthen Stability’’.

Without the slightest hint of irony, it said the conference will be ‘‘with the active participation of the relevant and specialized state institutions, in addition to a range of organizations, academics and experts, both local and international’’.

The event will take place at the Corinthia hotel, Tripoli, from 15 to 16 November.
