Al-Madar and the Libyan Fintech Laboratory sign an MoU on digital support (Logo: LFL).

Libya’s state Al-Madar mobile phone company signed an MoU with the Libyan Financial Technology Laboratory (FINTECH) on Sunday.

The Libyan Financial Technology Lab and Blockchain is a development initiative launched by the Sector Development Forums to be a cornerstone and a step in the path of the Libyan economy’s transition towards the era of advanced financial technology and blockchain.

The Libyan Financial Technology and Blockchain Lab was originally established to support pioneering projects in this field.

Al-Madar said this came within the framework of cooperation with all state institutions and the private sector to provide an integrated and secure digital environment, which is part of Al-Madar’s strategy to push the national economy towards digital transformation.
