Libya’s Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade for Commercial Affairs, Suhail Abushiha, called on France to cooperate in opening channels of communication between all institutions and economic activities in the two countries.
The call came during his meeting on Tuesday at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters with French Ambassador to Libya, Béatrice le Fraper du Hellen accompanied by the commercial attaché of the embassy, in the context of activating and developing economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
The Deputy Minister also called for work on correcting the economic path at the bilateral level by organizing a Libyan-French Economic Forum in Tripoli that includes economic activities under the auspices of the Ministers of Economy and Trade and the participation of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in both countries from 10 – 12 October this year.
