Italy’s Consul in Benghazi, Carlo Batori, met the head of Benghazi Municipality Steering Council Sager Bujwari yesterday to discuss numerous points of common interest.
The Municipality reported that Batori expressed his happiness at being in the city and that the two discussed:
- The Italian Union of Municipalities’ initiative to support and strengthen local administration through training programmes in various areas of local services.
- Following up on procedures related to the Coastal Road project.
- Working on the return of Italian companies to work in Benghazi.
- Holding meetings between Libyan and Italian businesses.
