London, 5 March 2021:

Waha Oil Company reported yesterday that its first flight back to its Dahra oilfield took place yesterday – six years on from when it was abandoned after an attack by ISIS.

The flight carried Waha Chairman accompanied by the Head of the Dahra Field Rehabilitation Project, the Director of the Operations, and the Waha Managers of the technical departments.

Waha reported that the rehabilitation of the oilfield is now ongoing again with vigour.
