Libyan boxer Malik Zinad asks for support against tough opponent

London, 3 March 2021:

Libyan champion boxer Malik ”the trigger” Zinad has asked the Libyan public to give him extra support and encouragement against his tough forthcoming challenger.

Zinad will face Belgian, Timur Nikarkhoev, who originates from the Russian Chechen Republic, on 28 March in Belgium.

As with all previous opponents, Zinad vowed he would oust his opponent, nicknamed “the destroyer”, this time, for the sake of his fans.

The Malta-based Zinad (Arabic for trigger) last outing was in July, when he beat Czech opponent, Ondrej Budera, with a seventh-round technical knockout in the fight held in Malta.

His latest challenger, Timur Nikarkhoev, is 27 years, ranked 77 globally and has 22 victories during his professional career. He has won 15 by knockouts with three defeats.
