LISCO and Turkish BLC sign MoU for development and maintenance

London, 24 February 2021:

The Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Turkish BLC company. The MoU involved:

  • Development of the plant sectors.
  • Development of continuous casting machines in the steel plant 2.
  • Maintenance of the first furnace at the hot-rolled strip factory.
  • Providing spare parts for bars and wire factories.
