Libya International Information Technology Forum 6-8 December

London, 7 December 2020:

The Libya International Information Technology Forum opened yesterday at the Tripoli Sports City. The event was sponsored by Libya’s main state holding company, the Libyan Post and Telecommunications and IT Company (LPTIC) and its subsidiaries.

LPTIC said the even aims to contribute to providing the best services, offers and participation in workshops and groups concerned with the field of information technology.

It said that in interacting directly with the public it hoped to acquaint citizens with the latest programmes and projects carried out by LPTIC and its subsidiaries, whether in the field of communications, information technology, or financial payment technologies for mobile phone applications and many other related services.

LPTIC Chairman, Faisal Girgab, said “We are proud of the work of the sector companies for their relentless pursuit of providing communication services throughout Libya, even in the most difficult circumstances that our beloved country has experienced, and we strive hard to bring global expertise and transfer knowledge to the sector for the purpose of improving services and providing the best.”
