London, 2 July 2020:
Tripoli’s popular retail fish market located at the edge of the water near the port’s main gate (Sug Bab Il-Baher) reports that it officially reopened its retail section to customers last Sunday (26 June.)
It has been closed for three months due to the Coronavirus.
The market has put in place all the expected hygiene and safety measures such as masks, gloves and social distancing, that are now standard to mitigate the spread of the virus.
It worth bearing in mind that, unofficially, customers have been able to purchase fish next door at the wholesale market.
