London, 12 June 2020:
Libya’s eastern-based Airports Authority announced yesterday the start of construction of the control tower at Derna’s Martuba airport.
The work will be implemented within 11 months and will be carried out by a Libyan company.
Martuba lies 27 km south of Derna and its airport was originally a military airbase which was used extensively during the Second World War.
