Libya’s private sector North African Bank announced a new public tender and an extension of an old tender last week.
On Wednesday, it announced a public tender for the supply of SIRON anti money laundering (AML) and anti-terrorism financing banking software and equipment. It invited specialized companies to communicate with its Equipment and Services Department located in its main Sug Il Juma office, in Tripoli (next to the Police Station) during official working hours to purchase the tender brochure for a non-refundable LD 500.
The deadline for receiving offers is the end of working hours on Thursday 5 March 2020. Envelopes will be open at 12:00 pm on Sunday 8 March 2020.
On Thursday 13 February the bank also announced the extension of its public tender period for the establishment of a main data centre for the bank in Tripoli.
Again, the bank invited specialized companies to communicate with its Department of Equipment and Services based in its Sug Il Juma General Administration building next to the Sug Il Juma Police Station during official working hours. The tender brochure of the terms and specifications of this tender will be available for a non-refundable LD 500.
The deadline for receiving offers is the end of working hours on Wednesday, 26 February 2020 and the tender envelopes will be opened at 12:00 pm on Thursday 27 February 2020, the bank said.
It will be recalled that NAB had announced a public tender for 500 desktop computers earlier in the month.
