Tripoli, 3 June 2017:
Libya’s ambassador to Spain Mohamed Al-Fagih Saleh died in Madrid today.
It is understood that the envoy had been suffering from cancer. The Government of National Accord’s foreign ministry confirming the death said that Saleh had only been ill for a short time.
A published poet, Saleh was appointed to Madrid in 2012 by the National Transition Council after the defeat of the Qaddafi regime.
