Zintani kick-boxers have won an array of medals at the 8th Arab Boxing Championship in Jordan. Overall, members from Zintan Sports Club won four medals:two gold and two silvers.
Muamar Filfil, weighing 63.5 kilos, won gold in ‘full contact’ and a silver in ‘low-kick.’ Mohamed Fouad Al-Guray, who fought in the division weighing less that 75 kilos, attained gold in the ‘low kick’ fight.
Misbah Mohamed achieved silver in the weight class below 81 kilos in full contact.
Overall, the Zintani team came fourth in the final ranking, under their coach Ali Omar Al-Haram.
