There are unconfirmed reports that two kidnapped Serbian diplomats perished in the IS compound in Sabratha . . .[restrict]that was hit by US warplanes early this morning.
Serbian embassy communications officer Sladjana Stankovic and a colleague Jovica Stepic were seized in last November when their vehicle was stopped west of Sabratha near the Talil Tourist village by gunmen.
They had been travelling in a convoy which also contained the Serbian ambassador Oliver Potezica, whose vehicle escaped. At the time the Ghwell administration said that the diplomats had been travelling without authorisation from the Tripoli authorities. [/restrict]
