A young mother died after delivering six babies, three girls and three boys, via C-section earlier . . .[restrict]this week at the Sebha Medical Centre, according to its spokesman Osama Al-Wafi. It is Sebha’s first case of sextuplets although there have been quadruplets before.
Wafi said the caesarean surgery lasted around three hours, but the mother did not survive after being transferred to intensive care.
All but one of the babies, born in the seventh month of pregnancy, are fine said to be fine. One needs special maternity observation for the moment, the spokesman explained.
