Tripoli, 29 October 2015:
Tension appear to be rising in Ben Jawad, where today IS abducted a young barber . . .[restrict]and ordered his fellow barbers in the town to stop shaving beards.
The town was also, along with Sirte, targeted by warplanes in the first air strike nine days ago for which no one has yet claimed responsibility. It is not clear what further damage the raid caused to the town which earlier this year was the scene of bitter fighting between the army and Libya Dawn forces.
The newspaper Alwasat reported that earlier this week that an IS militant was gunned down outside a hardware store by three gunmen who were able to escape. [/restrict]
