Benghazi, 7 July 2015:
Staff at Benghazi Medical Centre are reported to have wept when the bodies of four brothers were brought to the hospital after a mortar attack in Bouhdima.
The Al-Arafee brothers, Salah, Tariq, Mansour and Hamza were among some eight people killed today in mortar assaults launched from parts of the city still controlled by the Benghazi. They were recognised as they were brought into the hospital’s emergency room.
The other four who died were Walid Ibrahim, Awad Ibrahim Al-Awkali, Zaki Al-Barani and Khalid Mohamed Al-Fakhri.
One of the mortar shells, which witnesses said appeared to be fired at random, landed right beside the city’s children’s hospital but there were no reports of casualties there. [/restrict]
