The Libyan Red Crescent has opened a clinic in Tarhuna which, it said ,will expand the . . .[restrict]health services in the town, which already has two other health facilities. The clinic which includes a dental surgery, obstetric and gynaecology departments and a laboratory will also serve Zliten and Obari.
The opening ceremony today was conducted by Tarhuna’s mayor, Ayyad Salem with Red Crescent director Mohammed Misrati and local branch secretary Mustafa Abozzoadh. Also present were representatives from Tripoli and neighbouring towns including Zliten and Obari
Abozzoadh used the occasion to promote World Anti-Smoking Day with young people outside the clinic handing out leaflets urging smokers to give up the habit.
