Tripoli, 26 June 2015:
An unfortunate man from Murzuk was yesterday the victim of a double robbery in Sebha.
The unnamed . . .[restrict]individual had driven up from Murzuk to Sebha when his car was stopped by three men. They forced him to get out and drove off in it at speed. While the man, still shocked and frightened, was standing in the street, another car drove up and offered to help him chase after the thieves.
He accepted and jumped in beside the driver. However it wasn’t long before he realised that the Good Samaritan was no such thing. Instead of pursuing the stolen car, he drove victim to some deserted ground outside the town, where he pulled out a 9mm pistol and robbed him of LD700 and his mobile phone. He then forced the man out of the car and himself drove off at speed. [/restrict]
