A local man was killed last night in Ajdabiya in what appears to have been a . . .[restrict]targetted drive-by assassination. Mohamed Abdelhamid Emrajeh died instantly when gunman shot him several times from a passing car. The incident occurred near his home.
The victim was not involved in politics or security. He was, however, the son of Abdulhamid Emrajeh who headed internal security during the Qaddafi regime. It is thought that this may be the reason for his murder. [/restrict]
