Tripoli, 11 April 2015:
A time bomb was reportedly found . . .[restrict]and defused in Zliten today, minutes before it was due to explode.
The device was spotted in the town’s main municipal building. Fused explosives were linked to a mobile phone on which it appears an alarm had been set. It is unclear who found the bomb and who deactivated it.
This is not the first time that Zliten has been targeted recently by as yet unidentified attackers. There has been a failed attack to blow up a car and on Thursday tear gas was fired into a school. Some 300 students eventually had to be treated for the effects of the gas. [/restrict]
