Tripoli, 23 February 2015:

Muftah Ahmadi, the mayor of Zliten, has been in the Jordanian capital Amman to see . . .[restrict]how municipal administration works there and set up links to enable the Libyan town can learn from Jordan’s experience.

One of the areas looked into was the possibility of Jordanian input into helping Zliten develop its industrial manufacturing base.

During the visit, it was agreed that a team would go from Zliten to Amman for administrative training. A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed with the University of Jordan on cooperation in urban planning and human resources. [/restrict]
