Residents young and old alike will enjoy the Sebha annual Children’s Festival this week. The three-day . . .[restrict]celebration includes traditional exhibits, art galleries, paintings and hand-made crafts.
Participant and contributor to the event Marwa Imraja explained that a significant number of participants is involved from organisations such as the scouts, the Red Crescent and civil societies.
“The festival began this morning and lasts until 12 June. Many participants will attend this occasion and contribute to the success of this festival,” Imraja told the Libya Herald, adding, “This event aims to be a good-will gesture towards restoring social stability and peace in town”.
The festival is sponsored by the Social Affairs office, in partnership with the Culture and Civil Society office in Sebha. [/restrict]
