Tripoli, 23 May 2014:
Sirte airport will open its doors this week after more than a two-month hiatus.
Airport administration . . .[restrict]closed the airport for maintenance and the installation of new equipment and security cameras back in March.
Although the project is not yet complete, the administration is ready to open the airport and will run five local flights per week until it is fully finished. At that point, they plan to open up more flights. [/restrict]
