The Judicial Police went on strike today demanding a formal enquiry into the killing . . .[restrict]of five of their colleagues on Thursday while trying to retrieve a stolen vehicle in Warshefana.
In a letter to the Minister of Justice, Salah Marghani, they demanded that those responsible for the killings be brought to account.
A contingent of the Judicial Police were attacked in the Warshefana area after it had gone there to retrieve a vehicle which had been stolen but traced through a tracking device linked to the GPS.
In their letter they also demanded that they be issued with arms and ammunition for their defence. The demand has been made before.
Judicial Police have been attacked on several occasions while transferring prisoners. [/restrict]
