Tripoli, 10 August 2015:
There are reports that local Libya Dawn forces in Tarhouna have rocketed a district in the . . .[restrict]town following protests there on Friday against the death sentences passed a fortnight ago on Saif Al-Islam, Abdullah Senussi and seven other leading members of the former regime.
The local Kani brigade, backed by units from Tajoura and Suq Al-Juma, tried to enter the district today to arrest youths believed to have been involved in the pro-Qaddafi protests. However, local residents prevented them getting in. Confronted with the blockage, it is reported they started firing Grad missiles into the area.
Casualties are unknown.
It is not known, either, if there is any connection with reports yesterday that one of the main Libya Dawn commanders in Tarhouna, Salah Marghani, was shot and seriously wounded in gunfight. [/restrict]
