Derna, 14 May 2014:
An unknown group bombed the tomb of Sidi Al-Wushish in Derna at 6:30 am yesterday. . . .[restrict]The extremely loud explosion caused damage to nearby parked cars and windows of surrounding buildings, but caused no casualties, a local Derna resident told the Libya Herald.
The tomb is located in the centre of Derna on the road between Al-Sahaba mosque and Al-Latiq Mosque. The Derna resident said the tomb is more than 1000 years old.
This was the second incident in a week in which a bomb blast damaged a tomb at a historical site in the highly charged eastern town of Derna. [/restrict]
