Al-Ahly Benghazi is playing this evening in its match against Tunis team Espérance in quarter finals round . . .[restrict]of the CAF Champions League.
The match will be held the Taieb Mhiri stadium in Sfax. Kickoff is at 7.00 pm .
“The game was supposed to be played in Sudan but Ahly squad did not leave Tunis because of the closure of the airport in Benghazi, “Khalifa Bin Essa former administrator in the club told the Libya Herald today.
The Benghazi team have been in Tunisia since playing CS Sfaxien on 18 May. They lost 3-1. With the violence in Benghazi and the closure of Benina, they have not been able to return home.
Espérance also lost first match against Algeria’s ES Setif 2-1 on 17 May.
