Tripoli, 6 February 2014:

The Ministry of Oil announced that oil production up to 2 February averaged  478,329 bpd, up on the . . .[restrict]29th January figure of 417,277 bpd , but down on the two previous figures reported in 2014.

Libyan oil production had returned to 1.5 million bpd by 2012 after the 2011 February 17th Revolution, but was cut dramatically in the second half of 2013 due to the armed oil blockade of Libya’s eastern oil exporting terminals.
