Libyan business forum to be held in Malta

Tripoli, 16 February 2014:

A forum on Libyan business is to be held in Malta on 27 February, ahead . . .[restrict]of a Maltese trade delegation visit to Libya in April/May.

The conference, Doing Busines in Libya – Now, organised by the Libyan Maltese Chamber of Commerce, is to be addressed by the organisation’s president, Anthony Micallef, prominent Libyan businessman Husni Bey and Malta’s Foreign Minister George Vella.

Maltese ambassador to Libya, Emmanuel Galea, and Libyan Acting Chargé d’Affaires in Malta Hussein Benown as well as other Libyan business experts and Maltese entrepreneurs will also be speak.

More than 30 business leaders participated in the French Libyan Business Forum held in Paris from 3 to 5 July

The event is being hosted by Malta Enterprise at its headquarters in Pieta.  Malta Enterprise and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry are supporting the subsequent trade visit, which the Libyan-Maltese Chamber is organising.
