The office of Ajdabiya Local Council was last night pelted by home-made explosives, believed to . . .[restrict]be petrol bombs, which set the building ablaze and destroyed much of the interior.
There were no casualties in the attack, but the premises were badly damaged and much of the contents destroyed.
The attack is believed to have been carried out by a group of people who smashed the windows of the office and then hurled the bombs inside. [/restrict]
