Prime Minister Ali Zeidan arrived yesterday evening in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to attend . . .[restrict]the 22nd summit of African Union of Heads of State which begins on Thursday.
Zeidan joins Foreign Minister, Mohamed Abdulaziz, in the Ethopian capital where government heads from across Africa have gathered to discuss major issues facing the continent.
The 22nd summit is focused on problems concerning agriculture and food security. 2014 is the African Union’s year of agriculture, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme.
Today the summit heard briefings from The African Union Commission Chairperson, the AU Commissioner for Social affairs and the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
