Benghazi, 27 January 2104:
Gunmen in Benghazi today tried to kill a pilot who previously worked for the . . .[restrict]Interior ministry. Flight Lieutenant Abdurrahim Sulaiman Al-Jelali, 37, was shot in front of his house in the city’s Ras Abeida district. He was hit in the shoulder, stomach and chest. He was rushed to hospital for surgery. His condition is unknown.
Yesterday, the body of an intelligence officer was found in the city’s Teka area. Mohamed Ali Al-Sheikhi had been shot but initial reports state that that he had also been beaten before he died. [/restrict]
