A delegation from the Libyan-Maltese Chamber of Commerce has been in Tripoli this week to . . .[restrict]assess the business climate ahead of a planned Maltese trade mission in the spring.
Led by its president, Antony Micallef, whose Libyan company, Office Group Libya, is a one of leading suppliers of office print equipment in Libya, the mission held meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce as well as the Maltese embassy and the Tripoli office of Malta Enterprise.
During these meetings he areas of potential Malta-Libya trade growth were investigated, in particular in the construction, IT, education and the financial service sector.
It was also decided a first joint council meeting of the chamber would be held in Malta on 5 February, 2014. [/restrict]
