Tripoli, 11 July 2013:
Despite assurances from the Ministry of Electricity that there would be no power . . .[restrict]cuts during Ramadan, it appears there have already been two big outages in the capital.
Yesterday there were power cuts in various districts, none apparently lasting longer than three hours. However, today in Janzour, there were two separate breaks in power, totalling over ten hours. These outages brought back memories of the revolution, when power was lost for extended periods of time.
It was not possible to contact the Ministry of Electricity for a comment on the problems.
