An argument between two customers that ended in a shooting has temporarily closed the Qurdah branch . . .[restrict]of the Jumhouria Bank in Sebha.
It is reported that a man entered the bank and started arguing with a customer, before suddenly drawing a weapon and firing shots which left the other man slightly wounded.
The local branch of the SSC were called in by the bank manager. The gunman, who fled the bank after the shooting, has apparently been identified and a search for him is now underway.
Sebha SSC head Yahya Abdel-Rahman said the bank had been closed temporarily at the request of the bank manager and employees, until adequate security could be provided. [/restrict]
