Seminar on “Rules of Procedures” held at Congress

Tripoli, 17 April 2013:

A two-day seminar started today at the General National Congress to discuss the “Rules of Procedures.” The seminar . . .[restrict]is part of a European Union-financed Public Administration/Public Governance Facility (PAF/PGF) project.

The PAF/PGF is a technical assistance project which is implemented by the International Management Group in cooperation and coordination with the Libyan government and the General National Congress.

The seminar was opened by the Vice President of Congress Saleh Al-Makhzoum and attended by  of members Congress and international experts. It was moderated by IMG experts Dr Birgit Laubach, a former member of the German parliament and Dr Dieter Wolkewitz, another German expert.

The PAF/PGF is supporting Congress in a number of ways including strengthening of its administration. The project supports overall institutional capacity building and provides training of staff and technical expertise.
