Libya buys 50 French high-speed RIBs

Tripoli, 21 January 2013:

French specialist boat company Sillinger has announced the sale of 50 Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBS) to the Libyan armed forces.

The contract, the full value of which has not been disclosed, includes semi-rigid  boats from 3.80 to 12 metres, as well as the 1200 RIB UM Inboard, which offers high-tech equipment on board.

The Sillinger company, which sells its RIBs in 45 countries and has a turnover of €4 million, is part of the Groupe Marck , an exhibitor at the three-day military far at Tripoli Airbase, which opened yesterday, Sunday.
