A conference on underwater archaeology is being . . .[restrict]organised by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Department of Archaeology in Tripoli.
On Monday, December 3, there will be a lecture by Professor Sebastiano Tusa from the Italian Underwater and Coastal Archaeological Mission in Cyrenaica.
On Tuesday, Tuesday, December 11, Professor Barbara Davidde from the University of Rome III will give a lecture entitled “Underwater archaeology and the preservation in situ of underwater cultural heritage: ?the activities of the Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione e il Restauro in Italy and in Libya”
Both lectures will be at the King’s Palace (the Libya Museum) and start at 11am. [/restrict]
