The Tunisian airline Syphax yesterday announced that it would be launching a thrice-weekly flight between Sfax, 270 kilometres southeast . . .[restrict]of Tunis, and Tripoli, Libyan news agency LANA reported.
Mohamed Freikha, director of Syphax, said that the three flights would leave on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and that the journey from Sfax to Tripoli would last around 40 minutes.
He also stressed the “importance of the air transport sector in improving relations between the two countries”, saying that Syphax was also looking to start a route between Sfax and Benghazi in the next year. [/restrict]
