Tripoli, 20 December:

The newly rebranded SMEs (Small and Medium Sized) department, formerly under the Economic Development Board (EDB), now called . . .[restrict]”Libya Enterprise” and part of the Ministry of Economy, held a conference in Tripoli earlier this week.

The two day conference from 18-19 December was titled the ”Entrepreneurship and Innovation Annual Conference – The National Innovation System: Present and Future Prospects”.

The conference aims to support the role of Libyan Enterprise in fostering the process of development through the promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. This it hopes to do through society and in developing business support infrastructure in cooperation with local and international organisations.
