Tripoli, 19 October:
A Libyan army explosives team destroyed 22 tons of arms and munitions in a controlled explosion in Sidra yesterday, Thursday.
According to . . .[restrict]the team coordinator, Salah Abufajarha, the munitions were remnants from last year’s revolution. They included Grad rockets and launchers, RPGs and, he said, phosphorous bombs. Light ammunitions were also destroyed. They had all belonged to the former regime and had been gathered from Wadi Al Ahmar, west of Sidra, to Ras Lanuf in the east. [/restrict]
