Tripoli, 20 September:
Derna sea port was handed over to the armed forces on Tuesday, 18 September, having been under the control . . .[restrict]of the Abu Salim Martyr’s brigade since the onset of the 17 February revolution.
Local people are said to have welcomed the move.
Sources have said that a Libyan frigate has been deployed to the port, where it will now be stationed.
