Tripoli, 4 July:
Police in the border town of Musaid have arrested a man who crossed into Libya from Egypt illegally.
The head . . .[restrict]of Musaid Local Council confirmed that the arrested man was a Saudi national and that he been caught having entered Libya without a visa. He said the man had not come in through the proper land border crossing.
He stated that an existing Libyan visa stamped in the Saudi’s passport showed that he had been in Libya last year. The detained man had now been transferred to the Public Prosecutor’s office for further investigations.
Local sources have reported that the unnamed Saudi is a jihadist. [/restrict]
