The Construction and Furniture Fair opens in Tripoli
The Turkish and Indian Ambassadors officially . . .[restrict]open the show

Tripoli, 27 June:

The Turkish International Construction, Furniture, Carpets and Glassware Exhibition opened today at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds and will run for four days until Saturday 30 June.

The show was officially opened by the Turkish ambassador Mr Ali Kamal and was also attended by the Indian ambassador.

In a very short speech, the Turkish ambassador Mr Ali Kamal welcomed the 120 companies which included exhibitors from other countries besides Turkey and wished them a successful show.

Salah Abaidi, the General Manager of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Libya welcomed and thanked all that were present and noted that this cooperation between Turkey and Libya was a continuation of the cooperation that had started during Libya’s February 17 Revolution . He hoped this would continue on the business level in view of the strong historic links between the two nations.

Mohamed Hashem, head of the organizing company Pyramids remarked that this was the first ‘Cons’ exhibition in Libya and looked forward to Cons-2 which will be held 4-7 December 2012 (www.libyacons-tr.com)
