Sebha, 20 May:
Some 45 people were admitted to Sebha’s medical centre on Thursday suffering from food poisoning. According to the head of . . .[restrict]the security guards department in the town, Colonel Ali Shereef, all eaten at the same restaurant that day
All are reported to be in a stable condition.
Shereef added that an investigation was underway and that initial findings showed that contaminated food was the cause. He did not say whether the restaurant concerned had been closed. Investigations are ongoing.
